Carsulae, ancient roman town
Carsulae was an ancient Roman town that stood along Via Flaminia, a short distance from the medieval village of San Gemini.
Of the rich and active centre which developed in the Augustus Age, the remains of the main public, civil and religious monuments are still visible: the Gemini temples, basilica, theatre and amphitheatre, funerary monuments, a thermal plant and the monumental arch of St. Damian.
